Team Overview:
The Education and Outreach team is dedicated to educating youth throughout San Diego County about the climate crisis and empowering them to take action.
What We’re Working On:
- Creating relevant and educational content
- Reaching out to schools across San Diego County
- Crafting educational events for the Youth4Climate community
- Developing exciting trainings for the Eco-Club Coalition
- Supporting Y4C team and campaigns
What Volunteers Do:
- Gather and research educational materials
- Craft presentations to educate and inspire youth
- Present to a variety of audiences (while gaining public speaking skills!)
- Perform outreach to organizations and elected officials to support Y4C’s youth-led campaigns
Team Accomplishments:
The Education and Outreach team has presented at school eco-clubs, hosted Y4C calls, and developed a training for our Eco-Club Coalition.

How To Get Involved:
The Education and Outreach Team meets weekly on Wednesdays at 4:00pm. To get involved, fill out SD350’s Volunteer Interest Form and tick “Y4C Education & Outreach” under the Youth4Climate volunteer team section.
