What are Walkouts?

Walkouts are a form of organized protest in which students walk out of their schools to draw attention to a specific issue, such as a bill, discrimination, or a political injustice. These student-led protests aim to raise awareness and inspire change by showcasing the voices of youth.

What is MAKE POLLUTERS PAY

The Polluters Pay Climate Superfund (SB 1243 and AB 684) would force the largest fossil fuel polluters to pay for the climate damages they knowingly caused. This superfund would then be allocated towards disaster relief, frontline communities, and our renewable futures, so that major polluters bear the cost and burden of climate disasters such as the 2025 LA Wildfires that is currently being imposed onto California taxpayers. If passed, the California EPA would conduct a study of the oil and gas companies most responsible for greenhouse gas emissions make them pay proportionally.
